A long-standing producer of Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise, committed to accurate and verifiable product information on every medium.
Unique in the Rhône Valley, this world-renowned vin doux naturel nearly disappeared several times over the course of history. It owes its revival to its terroir sheltered by the Dentelles de Montmirail, well suited to growing Muscat à petits grains, its signature grape variety, and above all to the hard work of the Domaine des Bernardins family.
Romain Hall grasped the importance of the Internet very early on. He wanted to offer various media where his customers could find information. However, with a website including an online store, a Tumblr account, a Facebook page, and Instagram and Pinterest accounts, managing everything was becoming more and more difficult. In 2012 he chose vin.co to "save time and not write the same information ten times."
It seemed important to Domaine des Bernardins to have overall control of its digital communication, without relying on a large marketing department. The estate wanted to offer customers consistent, high-quality information across its various networks.
For this, it uses the tool for creating and distributing technical sheets across multiple media. "If someone changes a piece of information, whether in the comments or the tasting notes, the materials are updated automatically," explains Romain Hall. The estate thus allows customers to find its wines at any time on multiple media, to get information and be guided in a purchase or a tasting.
Using the various tools has saved the estate time in writing its technical sheets: "we have the opportunity to offer consumers a clear sheet, with an improved and consistent design."
"If someone changes a piece of information, the materials are updated automatically."
Likewise, sharing information with professionals is of better quality: "we just have to send them the link to download the technical sheet as a PDF, in several languages."
