It depends on your beverage category. Wines, aromatized wines, dealcoholized wines: since December 8, 2023, the ingredients list and the nutrition declaration have been mandatory in the EU (Regulation 2021/2117); only the energy value and allergens must remain on the paper label, and the rest can be provided digitally via a QR code. Spirits: no legal obligation for now, but the industry has voluntarily committed to transparency. Beers (> 1.2% ABV): currently exempt, but some national initiatives point toward a future obligation. Non-alcoholic drinks & fine foods: physical labeling is mandatory, but the e-label remains a marketing asset.
